I plan to use bolt caps. Keep in mind these locks are designed to discourage a thief from quickly stealing the wheels, not to keep a determined owner with tools,time, and resources from removing. Access to a couple simple tools will prevent this from becoming a problem.
I have one of these lug nut covers that have been rounded off and some of the other suggestions have not worked.

Does anyone know of a tool that can be used to remove them without scratching? He never did call the dealership because he wanted to see if we could get those off first without having to buy the key, since we wouldnt be putting the locking ones back on and it would be a waste of money.
